Come Racing 2008 Fixtures ARO Racecourses Annual Raceday Membership Next Racemeeting Purchase Tickets Racegoers Guide Dubai International Raceday		Race Plan Changes The Race Planning Committee met on Wednesday 25th June and made the following changes to the Race Plan. Please also note the following bullet points from the meeting:- Windsor Saturday 25th October This meeting has been cancelled, due to the sponsorship for the meeting falling through. Salisbury Meeting Sponsorship for this meeting has not yet been found. In view of this the meeting remains provisional and will be cancelled if sponsors are not secured. If Salisbury is cancelled then there will be a number of race alterations in Sept and Oct to cater for the registered horses. Sponsorship 10 opportunities still exist for sponsors across all meetings as well as a Group Race on a Thoroughbred Card. Open Race Championship This will now be held at Warwick in view of the Windsor cancellation. Conditions for the race will be published in Racing Calendar Part 5, due to be published on 31st July. Changes to Fixture List 2008 The racemeeting at Southwell (AW) has been cancelled. The racemeeting scheduled for Windsor on Saturday 25^th October has been cancelled. The racemeeting scheduled for Salisbury on Sunday 7^th September is still provisional. Race Plan Changes Hereford Saturday 2nd August The 1m4f 0-80 Handicap Stakes has been changed to a 1m4f 0-75 Handicap Stakes The 1m1f Conditions Race has been changed to a 1m1f Juvenile Stakes for 3 & 4 year olds. The 7f 0-70 Jebel Ali Handicap Stakes has been replaced with a 2m 0-65 Jebel Ali Handicap Stakes The 7f Anglo Open Handicap has been replaced with a 1m4f Anglo Open Handicap (Penn Challenge) Huntingdon Saturday 9th August The 0-75 1m2f Jebel Ali has been changed to a 0-70 1m2f Jebel Ali The 1m2f Non-Winner of 2 Open Race has been changed to a 0-180 Open Race Handicap The 6f 0-45 has been changed to a 6f 0-50. Single Races Newbury Sunday 3rd August This will be a Premier Handicap for horses rated 0-90 over 1 mile 2 furlongs. A percentage of the entry and declaration fees will go towards the Prize Fund for this race. To be confirmed. This will be an early closing race, with 3 entry stages. 1st Stage entries: Open at 2.30pm Tuesday 17^th June and close at 12 noon Wednesday 18^th June. £50. 2nd Stage entries: Open at 2.30pm Tuesday 22^nd July and close at 12 noon Wednesday 23^rd July. £50. Supplementary entries: Close by 12 noon Wednesday 23^rd July. £150. Declaration fee £50.
