Amanda joined
ARO from Charles Egerton Bloodstock in 2011.
She previously worked as a Civil Servant for the
British Army and studied Equine Management at
Merrist Wood College in Surrey. Outside of
racing Amanda enjoys riding out for a local
Arabian trainer and competing in Endurance rides.

Emily joins ARO from the dairy farming industry
which she has been working within since a 3 month
career break became a 3 year career break! Before
this she worked with a direct marketing company.
Well regarded within the online racing community,
she was appointed a 'Voice of the Races' for
www.lovetheraces.com, and also runs her own
websites to promote her artwork. She is a life
long fan of racing.
We are responsible for the following activities:-
Regulation
–
we
maintain and develop the regulations for the sport,
which are approved annually by the British
Horseracing Authority
Race Planning
– we organize the Fixture list on an annual basis
and implement the decisions of the Race
Planning Committee
Publications
– we publish the regulations, racing
calendars and all information relating to racemeetings
Promotion
– we are responsible for the promotion
of the sport as a whole and of individual racemeetings
Planning
– strategic planning for the future of the sport
Represent the UK – including attending meetings
of the International Federation for Arabian
Horseracing Authorities.
